St. Patrick’s Day Classroom Decor

As a Midwesterner, March always brings with it the promise of spring. Probably also some bouts of snow. Maybe a few ice storms, too. But definitely spring. Because hope springs eternal. So when I created these St. Patrick’s Day classroom decor resources, I had not only March 17th in mind but also spring, spring, and more spring.

Think green leaves, sprouts of fresh grass, and rainbows. They work just as well for St. Patrick’s Day as they do for a new season in bloom. What’s at the rainbow’s end? I have no idea. But I do know spring blooms at the end of winter, a season I also enjoy, albeit in a different way. And that knowledge gives me the burst of energy I need after my metaphorical (and sometimes literal) hibernation.

If you also like to spring your way out of winter, then savor these St. Patrick’s Day classroom decor digital resources. They are a celebration of new beginnings.

March classroom color schemes

Shake up your March classroom color schemes with the following colors:

  • Kelly green
  • Mint green
  • Scheele’s green
  • Slate gray
  • Carbon gray
  • Gray Wolf
  • Chrome yellow
  • Coral pink
  • Amaranth pink
  • Watermelon pink

Side note about colors: The aforementioned names are not the exact colors used in these materials. Rather they are used as a guide to help you plan your classroom. If you’re curious about colors, then you might enjoy Kassia St. Clair’s book, The Secret Lives of Color and the website, Color-Meanings.com.

St. Patrick’s Day classroom decor materials

So what exactly is there to pick from? You’ll find the following St. Patrick’s Day materials in my Spirited Learning store on TPT:

  • St. Patrick’s Day Bulletin Board
  • Editable Binder Covers, Spines, and Name Tags – St. Patrick’s Day
  • Google Slides Templates – St. Patrick’s Day
  • St. Patrick’s Day Google Sites Templates

Each resource can be used as a stand-alone resource, or they can be used together as a mini classroom decor setup. However you use them, you have charming, uplifting decorations to display in your classroom!

St. Patrick’s Day bulletin board

I’m completely and totally and absolutely biased, of course. But I do believe this an utterly charming bulletin board set. It’s more than just green. Poster messages say:

  • Happy St. Patrick’s Day
  • Welcome to our clover patch!
  • Possibilities flourish here!
  • Friendship is golden!
  • Spread kindness wherever you go!
  • This class shamRocks!
  • We’re lucky you’re here!
  • March 17
  • I believe in you!

This bulletin board set also includes bunting that can be used to decorate a bulletin board, door, desk, or other area of the classroom. Use the scale function on your printer if you’d like to make each piece of bunting smaller, or if you’d like to switch up sizes!

St. Patrick’s Day teacher binder covers

In addition to a bulletin board, Google Slides templates, and Google Sites templates, you can also organize and decorate your classroom with materials in these St. Patrick’s Day text editable teacher binder covers. In addition to the covers, this resource also includes:

  • Text editable binder covers
  • Text editable binder spines
  • Circle tags
  • Desk name plates
  • Table numbers

The table numbers are also text editable, so you can use them for any number of classroom needs. The desk name plates are great for labeling totes, crates, baskets, and boxes, while the circle tags are perfect for lockers, cubbies, and even bunting!

How to print St. Patrick’s Day classroom decor

These St. Patrick’s Day classroom decor pieces are available in my Spirited Learning store on TPT. They are digital downloads available for purchase. And once you’ve downloaded them, then you can print them however you like. For these resources, printing at home is a great option. You can scale the posters to smaller sizes, if desired. And you can print them on cardstock (as shown in these images) or on another paper of your choosing.

If you’re curious about the best ways to print classroom decor, seasonal or otherwise, then click through and read another post I wrote, How to Print Classroom Decor.
