No-Bake Recipes
Almond Butter Crunch Cups
First up on our list of Kid-Friendly Baking Recipes are these decadent, super-easy-to-make Almond Butter Crunch Cups. Our family can’t get enough of these right now! They are a low-stress no-bake recipe that even little littles can get in on without too much effort. And the finished product stores easily in the freezer for a few weeks. Although if you’re like our family, they won’t last longer than 24 hours. We usually make half our batch with pecans and half without.

Creamy Paleo Fudge

Creamy Paleo Fudge was one of the first paleo dessert recipes we learned to make. It was also the very first official recipe on the Spirited blog. So we’ve had a lot of practice with this one. For best results, read through the blog post. There are a few best practices to make sure the ingredients blend well, the blender blades don’t clog, and you achieve the flavor balance you desire.

Edible Cookie Dough

Who doesn’t love a good Edible Cookie Dough recipe? I’m all for cookie dough. Secretly, I sometimes prefer it to the final baked product, and I almost never achieve the suggested yields. Because I’m always sneaking bites as I prepare the batter. Thank you for understanding my humanness. This is a throw-everything-together-in-the-bowl-and-chill-the-batter-for-a-few-minutes kind of recipe. It couldn’t be simpler!

Lemon Vanilla Cheesecake Bars

Dairy-free cheesecake made with cashews is a quick no-bake dessert method that’s a recipe for deliciousness! These Lemon Vanilla Cheesecake Bars are made with a pecan crust that tastes just like a cookie. The cashew filling is flavored with lemon juice and vanilla extract for a sweet treat! Top with fresh fruit for an even bigger flavor burst! (I originally wondered whether the extra fruit toppings would detract from the lemon/vanilla combo. But it turns out they play really well together in this recipe!)

Paleo Vanilla Muffins

No everything we bake includes chocolate! These Paleo Vanilla Muffins are proof of that! Ready in about 30 minutes, about the hardest thing you’ll have to do is beat the egg whites into stiff peaks and then fold them into the batter. If you can do that, you’re set for some scrumptious muffins. For best results, I suggest consuming them within about a day.

Baked Paleo Vanilla Donuts

If you’re in the mood for something other than a muffin, then you’ll enjoy these Baked Paleo Vanilla Donuts. Like the muffins, about the most difficult thing to deal with is separating the yolks from the egg whites, beating the egg whites to form stiff peaks, and then folding them into the batter. We flavor ours with maple syrup and top with fresh fruit! These donuts are a delicious way to start the day!

Cinnamon Swirl Muffins

These Cinnamon Swirl Muffins are comfort food in a muffin pan, I tell you what! And even though you might think cinnamon muffins are more of a fall/winter deal, our family is here to tell you we love these muffins of deliciousness on the regular. They know no season, and they are nothing if not comforting.

Chocolate Chunk Crinkle Cookies

Fudgy Paleo Brownies

Rich and chocolatey, these Fudgy Paleo Brownies are a chocolate-lover’s dream come true! Omigosh, I cannot gush about these enough. Just look at that chocolate decadence in the middle of the brownie. This is definitely one of our favorite kid-friendly baking recipes. Not only is the flavor out of this world good, but most of the recipe is made in a saucepan, which makes it perfect for littles. Let ’em stir a bit here and a bit there, and you’ll have brownies in no time flat!

Chocolate Almond Butter Brownies

Last but never least on our list of Kid-Friendly Baking Recipes are these Chocolate Almond Butter Brownies. This is another recipe that we make frequently. These brownies are just too good to pass up. And they are different than most brownie recipes because the almond butter complements the chocolate. When I first made these, I thought, “Wow! These would be perfect for chocolate lovers AND people who like chocolate, but not super-rich chocolate.” This is a brownie for the masses! Ooh, and we like to top ours with sea salt.
