I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I do a lot of farmhouse classroom decor themes. No, Morgan, I hadn’t noticed. 🤣 Okay, then, well let me tell you: I’ve done it again. And this time it’s a farmhouse classroom design with a twist. Enter Cozy Farmhouse classroom decor.
Because with this Cozy Farmhouse classroom decor theme, we’re throwing deep reds, a sliver of pink, and an earthy green into the mix. And it’s nothing short of:
- Dramatic
- Eye-catching
- Sophisticated
- Warm
- Inviting
Cozy Farmhouse classroom decor is like one big bear hug. And it works just as well on rainy days or low-lit classrooms as it does on bright, sunny days and well-lit classrooms. Can we just agree that the plaid pattern looks like a warm blanket and the greenery is just one way to bring the outdoors in?
Also, may I just interject that one of the things I hear from teachers about these farmhouse classroom decor themes is how easy it is to decorate for older grades? I think that’s what makes this particular classroom theme so great. It’s the right balance of color, patter, and relatability.
So let me show you around!
Cozy Farmhouse color schemes
First, let’s talk color schemes. Like I mentioned above, this theme spans the ages. So if you cage grades or you’d like something that will follow you wherever you teach, then this theme is right up your alley! And you can highlight one color or another, depending on the age and preference of your class. Here are the highlights:
- Dark and light green
- Deep red
- Pink Brown/earth tones
- Black and white
Black, white, and kraft materials are excellent complements to this theme. And since they are common colors, you’ll hopefully be able to find what you want in the price range you want. Even better? You might be able to reuse items you already have!
What’s included in this Cozy Farmhouse Classroom Decor theme?
Now let’s delve into what you’ll actually get in this bundle! So many of the items listed below can be repurposed for a number of different classroom uses! The desk name plates, circle tags, and table numbers can also be used as labels. The text editable teacher binder covers can be repurposed into additional posters, while the classroom rules posters can be repurposed to highlight a classroom activity.
For example, I used a teacher binder cover labeled Notes as a spot on the wall where notes or highlights of an activity can be included below it. I repurposed the Encourage one another classroom poster as spot on the wall where students could write encouragements to each other or the class as a whole.
And these examples are just the tip of the iceberg!

Classroom focus wall ideas
And last, but not least, for this theme I kept the bulletin board itself fairly basic with trusty woodgrain paper and a eucalyptus green scalloped border. If you’d like to create a layered look, then pair a bulletin board border with the bunting provided in a few of the products in this bundle. I enhanced the area with:
- Alphabet posters
- Numbers posters
- Colors posters
- Shapes posters
I also included a birthday poster, classroom jobs, Today is, hand signals, daily schedule cards, and currency posters. And you can’t go wrong with a wall pocket calendar. The rolling cart labels are text editable and come in angled and rectangular styles so you can select the option that works best for you. Also, can we get shoutouts for book bin labels? Because those are a lifesaver (and multipurpose organizational tools, too)!
Spiriteds, stay wild and know that I’m glad you’re here! ❤️
