This 5-Minute Blackberry Sauce is a delicious blend of sweet and tart flavors. Ooh, and it goes well with all kinds of baked goods, breakfasts, cold treats, and, most importantly, a spoon. So, if you eat it straight from the jar, I won’t judge! {Paleo or Vegan}


  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar (vegan) or 100% pure honey (paleo)


  1. Rinse and drain the blackberries and then add them to a high speed blender. Pour in the cold water, lemon juice, and sweetener and blend until smooth.
  2. Blend until desired texture and consistency is reached. If the sauce becomes too warm in the blender, and you’d like to enjoy immediately after blending, then add a handful of ice cubes to the blender. When the sauce is ready, then pour it into glass jars and keep refrigerated. The sauce will thicken slightly as it sits. 
  3. Serve by itself or as a topping/mix-in and consume within about a week.
