Is there anything better than a hot cup of coffee? Yes, I believe there is. One with a little chocolate in it. Maybe some vanilla and a dash or two of cinnamon. This is how coffee was meant to be, and it’s here for us now, Spiriteds. The World’s Best Chocolate Coffee.
Remember those Gluten-Free Snowball Cookies from yesterday? Yeah, me, too. I’m still eating them likes it’s my job. This is the perfect complement to that buttery goodness. A mug of this, and a handful of those. The holidays just got a little bit warmer and a whole lot sweeter.
I am addicted to coffee and should never be left to make important life decisions until I’ve had a cup or two. I may also be addicted to creamer, of any kind, so it was a natural progression to go from over-the-counter creamer to throwing a little chocolate into my morning routine.
This is all kinds of better, and now I must have chocolate in my cup every morning, and that’s just the way it is.
Seriously, making the World’s Best Chocolate Coffee couldn’t be any simpler, which is perfect for the holiday season, winter, and all the days of the year. Because chocolate knows no bounds. Brew a cup of this, anywhere from 8-10 oz, and add 1/2 teaspoon of unsweetened cacao powder. Then stir with a spoon or a cinnamon stick, and it’s luxury in your very kitchen, at your very fingertips.
It’s also the perfect setup for a coffee bar. Can you even do that? I mean, people have taco bars and crab-stuffed avocado bars (or is that just us?) and spicy deviled egg bars (again, just us?). So, why not a coffee bar? Plus, this is the perfect setup if you have food allergies in your family, are hosting guests who don’t, and want to offer something awesome that doesn’t feel like a sellout. Think:
- Almond milk (for this, I’d splurge and choose vanilla-flavored almond milk)
- Vanilla or almond extract
- Bailey’s (because, duh)
- Chocolate chips (Enjoy Life brand is allergen-friendly)
Your guests will be all over this action. Party meets friends meets winter meets chocolate. Is there any other way to do the holidays? I think not.
So sip up. The World’s Best Chocolate Coffee is just waiting to be made. ☕️☕️☕️
