Strawberry Peach Breakfast Smoothie

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, halved and leaves removed
- 2 fresh peaches
- 1/2 cup cold water (increase or decrease as needed)
- 1/4 cup 100% pure honey (paleo) or agave nectar (vegan)
- 1 tsp vanilla, optional
- 1–2 tbsp flaxseed or chia seeds, optional
- Combine fruit and water in high-speed blender and mix on medium to high speed until smooth.
- Add honey or agave nectar and vanilla, if including, continuing to blend until mixed.
- Add flaxseed or chia seeds. (K-Hubs is a big flaxseed fan, while I am more of a chia seed fan. Go with your preference. This tangy smoothie, although freakishly delicious, doesn’t “hide” additional flavors the way some recipes do.)
- Let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes (this is a smoothie best served cold).
