Strawberry Lime Sparkling Water is a delicious, thirst-quenching non-alcoholic beverage that is perfect for a cozy gathering with friends or family. Or, if I’m being honest, a good book. Add a splash of lime juice to the mix and let the flavors do their thing! {Vegan-friendly + Gluten-Free}

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar
  • 12 tablespoons lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime-flavored sparkling water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water, strawberries, and sweetener to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5-10 minutes, or until the strawberries soften and are easily mashed with a spoon or potato masher. Remove from heat to cool.
  2. When the strawberry mixture is cool enough to handle, press the mixture through a mesh strainer into a bowl. Press down on the strawberries using the rounded side of a spoon. This will extract as much of the liquid from the pulp as possible. Add the lime juice to the strawberry liquid and continue to let cool.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup strawberry mixture into 8-ounce drinking glasses. Then top with ice cubes and pour sparkling water over the ice. Garnish with fresh strawberries or springs of rosemary.
  4. For best results, do not mix the strawberry mixture and sparkling water together until just prior to serving. Store leftover strawberry juice in a glass jar for about 1-2 days and then add it to a glass with ice, sparkling water, and garnishes when you’d like a refreshing sip.
