Blackberry Lemon Sparkling Water
Any excuse to enjoy blackberries + lemons together is an excuse I AM READY to make. These two are like the Dolly Parton + Kenny Rogers duo of the sparkling water world. Islands in the stream, anyone? What can I say? Blackberries and lemons go ridiculously well together. I can’t explain it, so I’ll just add them to my sparkling water instead. And if after you’ve tried this drink and want more, then check out our 5-Minute Blackberry Sauce. It is *chef’s kiss*.

Blueberry Sparkling Water
Blueberry Sparkling Water has taken this blog by storm! Ya’ll have been loving on it since I gave it a makeover! And I don’t blame you. It IS a delicious beverage. And it’s so pretty, too. Here’s the thing: the limes give it that extra pizzazz. So make sure to add the lime juice in small amounts until you get the pizzazz your tastebuds are looking for. Not gonna lie, I had a hard time sharing this one with K-Hubs! There almost wasn’t any left by the time he got home. Side note to the wise: just double this batch to be on the safe side of sharing.

Strawberry Lime Sparkling Water
This sparkling water recipe made me smile. I love strawberries, and I expected to like this one right off the bat. Which I absolutely did. But something struck me. I often think of strawberries + limes in alcoholic beverages. This has that same fruity flavor but without the alcohol. So if you are in the mood for big taste in non-alcohol form, then this one is worth a try!

Raspberry Lime Sparkling water
Just like Strawberry Lime Sparkling Water, I fully expected to love this Raspberry Lime Sparkling Water recipe, which I TOTALLY DID, OF COURSE. But I was just tickled pink by the fresh-raspberries-as-garnish trick. And it’s not like it’s that shocking. Raspberries as a topping has been done, yes, I know. But somehow in this little drink recipe, it just wrapped the whole thing up in a nice little bow. And I love it.

Mixed Berry Sparkling Water
What is there even to say? Ending on Mixed Berry Sparkling Water is probably the only right way to finish this roundup. Because why? Because with so many fruity flavors to choose from, you can mix and match your fresh fruit choices and ratios for any number of mixed berry flavor combos. I went with an even 1 : 1 : 1 : 1 for my fruits. Is that ratio even a thing? Let’s say it is. But if a fruit is out of season or otherwise off the shelf, you can add more of another berry already in your mix, or, GASP, add a new berry altogether. You guys, play around with this one. It is all kinds of amazing. It also yields the most fruity syrup of all the recipes on in this post. So if you think you’re going to need a lot of sparkling water, then this may be the one to start with!

Best practices for these satisfying bevvies!
- Use fresh fruit. To get the right flavor when you simmer the fruit, it’s best to work with fresh. This is especially true for the raspberries, which I find are smaller and more tart when they’re frozen. If you do have frozen fruit to use up, rather than simmering them, add them to your drink the way you would ice cubes. Keeps your sparkling water cold without watering it down.
- Add the citrus carefully, in small increments. The citrus is what jolts the flavor. The only way I know to describe the effect is that the tasty drinks will still taste a little flat when they are “under-citrused”, as it were. So add the citrus flavor in small amounts, taste testing as you go, until the fruity syrup you’ve made has the right flavor spark.
- Sweeten to taste. This might seem obvious. But are a lot of variables for how sweet or fresh the fresh fruit really is. I find that, like adding the citrus juice, it’s a good idea to add the sweetener in little bits at a time.
Spiriteds, I hope you enjoy this sparkling water recipe roundup! Stay well and stay wild. I’m glad you’re here. 🩷
