Salted Chocolate-Dipped Mandarin Orange Slices

  • 45 mandarin oranges, peeled
  • 1/2 cup melted dairy-free chocolate chips (I like Enjoy Life brand)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 12 tablespoons sea salt


  1. Lay mandarin orange wedges out on wax paper. Then melt chocolate chips and coconut oil according to package instructions in microwave-safe dish. (I melted on high, stirring every 15 seconds.)
  2. Dip wedges in melted chocolate and then lay out on wax paper.
  3. Sprinkle sea salt on each wedge while the chocolate is still soft.
  4. Set aside to firm up or chill, covered, for a few minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. For best results, prepare the same day they will be enjoyed and leave at room temperature.
