Forget store bought dressings! This Homemade Italian Salad Dressing is where it’s at! Made with dried herbs, fresh garlic, and olive oil, this simple dressing is easy to throw together and enjoy so many different ways! {Vegan + Paleo}


  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil, optional
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (I used cracked pepper for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt


  1. Pour olive oil into a wide mouth glass jar. Then add the dried herbs, fresh garlic, sea salt, and pepper. Stir briskly so the ingredients have a chance to blend in with the olive oil.
  2. Use immediately or store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for about a week.
  3. If ingredients solidify during refrigeration, then stir vigorously before serving.
