Green Apple Ginger Juice

This invigorating green drink is a delicious blend of fruits and vegetables! It’s ready in minutes, too! {Gluten-free + Paleo}

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 2 green apples, sliced with skins left on
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 lemon, rind and seeds removed
  • 2 pieces fresh ginger, peeled
  • Handful of fresh spinach
  • 2 handfuls of ice
  • 100% pure honey or agave nectar, to taste

 

Instructions

  1. Combine water, green apples, cucumber, lemon, ginger, spinach, and ice cubes (in that order) in a high-speed blender and mix on HIGH until the ingredients have dissolved.  
  2. Then add the honey or agave nectar and continue mixing until well combined.
  3. Enjoy right then and there or store in the refrigerator for about 1-2 days. 

Notes

  • To create a pulp-free drink, pour the juice through a wire mesh strainer prior to adding the sweetener. 
  • If the juice becomes warm during the blending process, then add an extra handful of ice cubes to the container and continue blending.
