This Dairy-Free Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothie is what you get when you pair fresh strawberries and gluten-free oatmeal with your choice of milk (we go with almond) and sweetener (sky’s the limit). It’s so ridiculously good, it’s hard to believe that it only takes a handful of ingredients and minutes to make! {Vegan + Gluten-Free}

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
  • 1 cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats 
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar, 100% pure maple syrup, or 100% honey, optional 

Instructions

  1. First, rinse and dry the strawberries. Then remove the stems and slice the strawberries in half (in thirds for larger strawberries). In a high-speed blender add the milk and the strawberries, followed by the gluten-free oatmeal and sweetener.
  2. Next, blend on a HIGH speed until smooth and then pour into glasses or jars.
  3. Finally, refrigerate leftovers and consume within about two days. This smoothie will thicken as it sits.
