CRANBERRY FIZZ MOCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
Just four main ingredients, and you’re on your way to a delectable drink!
- Fresh cranberries. You can halve each cranberry by hand or lightly chop them in a food chopper.
- Water. I typically work with about three cups, although the main goal is to add enough water to the saucepan so as to cover the cranberries, plus another inch or so.
- Ginger ale OR sparkling water. Using ginger ale is fairly straightforward, however when using sparkling water, choose behind unflavored, lemon, or lime, for best results.
- Agave nectar. I don’t add much agave nectar to the cranberries if I plan to use ginger ale. If using sparkling water, I will add a little extra agave nectar to the pitcher to offset the tart cranberries.

HOW TO MAKE A CRANBERRY FIZZ MOCKTAIL:
Although ratios are provided below for combining the cranberry syrup with either ginger ale or sparkling water, in reality you can adjust the ratios of each however your tastebuds like. 🙂
To make the cranberry syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, water, and agave nectar. Simmer covered for about 10 minutes, or until the water has turned a deep red. Let cool and pour through a mesh strainer. Store the cranberry syrup in a mason jar and refrigerate for up to one week.
Cranberry Fizz Mocktail with ginger ale: Combine two parts ginger ale with one part cranberry syrup.
Cranberry Fizz Mocktail with sparkling water: Combine equal parts cranberry syrup and sparkling water. For a sweeter flavor, add additional agave nectar.
