Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Egg, and Avocado Salad


  • 2 handfuls of lettuce leaves (butterhead, romaine, or two pieces of iceberg)
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 2 handfuls of grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • 2 eggs, cooked sunny side up
  • Dash of pepper


  1. Tuck lettuce leaves into two bowls.
  2. Fry bacon in pan until crispy.
  3. While bacon is frying, halve tomatoes and cube avocado.
  4. Once bacon is cooked through, pat it with a paper towel, crumble it, and set aside.

  6. Layer the lettuce bowls with bacon pieces, tomatoes, and avocado.
  7. Top each salad with an egg.
  8. Add a dash of pepper.
  9. Serve immediately.
