2-Ingredient Almond Sauce

  • 1 cup almonds (soaked, optional)
  • 2 cups water (if soaked, use water almonds were soaked in)


  1. Blend almonds with water on high speed for 5-6 minutes.
  2. Pour through strainer or squeeze through a cheese cloth (optional)
  3. Refrigerate in wide mouth glass jar.


Our new fave way to enjoy this is to blend equal parts soaked almonds and water. Then we add 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp almond extract. It seems redundant but is oh so tasty! Then we sprinkle it with cinnamon and top with our favorite fruit. Berries are an obvious choice, but a surprising delicious mix-in was mandarin oranges. Who would have thought? So absolutely YUM!
